Woe is Africa, woe is we.

October 25, 2007

Africa, depopulated, of course, is about to become the world’s largest and most beautiful resort destination, with all of it’s vast natural resources owned by European and American conglomerates.  If this scenario plays out, then we can point to the Portuguese excursions along the coast of West Africa in the 15th century as the beginnings of the end of the human race.

The purpose of the European contact with The Motherland was conquest and profit.  If you care to read it, this very informative website recants the history of “The European Voyages of Exploration”.   (link)

Nearly six centuries have passed and the desendants of those early bold adventurers have not wavered from the original purpose, conquest and profit.  So often we mistakenly attribute the underlying cause of our problems to Racism.  In reality the culprit is not Racism, it is White Supremacy.  Racism is merely a tool of white supremacists, used to substantiate the superiority of Europeans.  I dare say that Race is an invention of the European.  In fact, Europe, the continent, is an invention of the European.  (On all of the maps that I’ve seen, Europe is connected to the continent of Asia.  But that is the subject of another discussion.)  Incidentally, when I make reference to “white supremacists” I am not only talking about the kkk, the aryan brotherhood, the american nazi party and their ilk.  These groups spout the extremes of White Supremacy.  When I speak of white supremacy and white supremists I am including nearly all white people because it appears that their right to domination and dominion in all matters pertaining to this Earthly existence has been inbred into them for centuries.

How I digress; my subject is, in reality, the actual depopulation of Africa.  Have you ever wondered why, if the reason for jobs leaving the USA and going to Mexico and Asia was to find cheap labor, then why have none of those jobs and industries gone to Africa?  It stands to reason that the cheapest labor pool in the world should be on the African continent.  Yet, there appears not to be any major industrialization taking place in Africa to take advantage of (to exploit) this situation.  Don’t get me wrong, I am not advocating the industrialization of Africa.  But given the mindset of those in the power elite you would think that this would be viewed by someone as being juicy and ripe for the picking.  It should strike you as strange that those who have never shyied away from exploiting the African continent for everything that could be gained have not seen the obviousness of this situation.  To me, the fact that this is so is, both, revealing and frightening.  What it indicates is that there is no intention of allowing the peoples of Africa to participate as a partner (or in any other capacity) in the so-called New World Order.  I include all peoples of African descent. Ask yourselves, what role are we to play in the so-called New World Order?  You just have to look around you to see the answer.  None!

The whole of Africa is in turmoil.  Drought, famine, war, disease, poverty, politcal corruption.  You name it.  Africa has it.  This is not a reflection on the peoples of Africa, and it is not simply the legacy of colonialism.  I believe that it is by design.  The aim is to control the immense stores of natural resources that Africa has to offer without interference from the populations.  Everywhere you choose to  look in Africa you see evidence of destabilization, economically, politically and socially.  I don’t know where, when or how it happened, but I do believe that this has actually been designed by a real group of people.  This is not the outpourings of a conspiracy theorist.  Nor the rantings of an alarmist.  The things that are happening in Africa are too momentous to be ignored, and they are not circumstantial.  There seems to be a confluence of calamitous events occuring in Africa and the involvement of the industrialized nations seem to be readily apparent.  The continent is being ravaged, and you don’t have to be too keen to know that there are beneficiaries to the ravaging.  The news out of Africa seems always to be negative, painting a grim picture of the continent’s future.  At the same time the flow of Africa’s natural wealth to countries outside of itself goes on unabated.  The wealth of Africa should benefit the peoples of Africa.  Are you not curious to know why, in a land with such vast mineral wealth there is so much poverty?  We know the answer to this question.  Europe has a stranglehold on Africa, and it is tightening it’s grip constantly.  We had better recognize the true implications of this fact, and take whatever actions that are neccessary for the revitalization of Africa and its peoples the world over.  If there has ever been a reason for Unity, this should be it.  Our very existence depends on it.  There are no hyphenated Africans (Afro-American, Afro-Franco, Afro-Anglo, etc.) without there being a viable Africa.  We must see what is happening and take actions to combat it.

If the Motherland becomes what this article suggests that it seems to be headed for, a depopulated resort destination, then there will be dire consequences not just for black folks, but for humankind as a whole.  Any group, or groups, that can contemplate, and actually carry out the complete depopulation of an entire continent is the supreme threat to life as we know it.  Don’t think that what I am suggeting is far-fetched or beyond the realm of possibility.  Remember the lesson of Native Americans.  And The African Holocaust has never slackened, it continues to this day.

I have returned.  It took some time for me to figure out how to post to my blog.  I expected that when I logged in there would be drop-down menus and such that would lead me to this brave new world of blogging.  Alas, I discovered the mysteries revealed to me in a run-of-the-mill e-mail.  So here I am.

Since we’re new to each other I would like to welcome you to this site in the manner in which my grandmother (my “Big Momma”) would welcome friends into our home… with food.  As I stated in my initial post, I was going to the market to get fixin’ for dinner.  Well since I can’t invite you to dinner, I thought that I might share this little recipe with you.  I call it “Wing Tip Soup“.  No, I don’t intend for this to be a cook’s blog but since I enjoy cooking on occassion and I had nothing in particular to write about here’s something to do with chicken wings:

Wing Tip Soup

  • 5 lbs. Chicken wings

  • 3 quarts water

  • 1-28 oz can petite diced tomatoes

  • 2 lbs Frozen mixed vegetables

  • 1 lb Frozen cut okra

  • 1-8pc. pack Frozen corn coblets

  • Spices to taste

(I use salt, black pepper, granulated garlic, Italian dry seasonings, chilli powder and cayenne pepper.)

Cut wings at joints.  Place in a large pot, with water.  Bring to a boil over high heat.  Skim foam from the top.  Reduce heat to medium low, simmer wings for about 30 minutes.   Remove wings to a bowl large enough to fit.  Set aside.

Pour diced tomatoes, frozen vegetables, including frozen okra and frozen corn coblets into the pot, and return broth to a boil over high heat.  Once broth is boiling, reduce to simmer and cook vegetables until tender.  Return wing pieces to pot and serve soup, piping hot.

Enjoy!

This soup is to be viewed as finger-food. That is why the wings are used (including the tips) instead of boneless pieces of chicken. That is also why I use corn coblets, instead of cut corn  Even if you don’t eat wing tips, incclude them in the soup because they improve the flavor of the soup’s broth.  There is a special comfort and goodness to eating with your fingers.  It is that comfort and goodness that I wish to share with you.  Thank you and Good Night.

Hello world!

I am about to go to the market to get ingredients for this evening’s dinner.  I’ll have more to say when I get back.  See you soon.
